Therapy

The "Growing A Person" Project has gone a wee bit pear-shaped, thanks to my increasing blood pressure, which, combined with the expected head/pelvis incompatibility, has required that we book an elective c-section for early in June...so I'm still pregnant, but only for a few more weeks! It's quite funny to think that we know our baby's birth date in advance, and that we've been here before, but it's very reassuring to know that my lovely obstetrician has the welfare of both Baby Peanut and I very much at heart. In the meantime, my self prescribed "therapy" has involved:

Eye pillows, made from the "In-Stitches" pattern, for the special mothers on Mothers Day (with one more to make - for me!):

Playing with my gorgeous niece on Mother's Day:

One down, two to go - finally, a nappy bag for me (hedging my bets on the pink AND the blue!):

Lamb shanks, in the slow cooker, which was my Mother's day present (thank you boys!):

I think we'll be just fine.

Slow cookers are the best. Great to be able to sort dinner out at 9am and avoid that arsenic hour when everyone is screaming and all you need to do is fix dinner.
Hope you have many hours bonding with your new toy.
